The thing I love most about the island is the beaches, you are spoilt for choice, the coastline walks are stunning and keep an eye out for the passing ships in the Solent. The island is steeped in history which of course makes it all the more fascinating: from pirates and shipwrecks to dinosaurs, and even a Roman Villa in Brading.
